When Father Papered The Parlour

Now the parlour needed papering and pa said it's a waste
To call a paper 'anger in so 'e made up some paste,
'E got some rolls of paper and a ladder and a brush,
And wiv me muvver's nightie on at it 'e made a rush.

CHORUS:

When farver papered the parlour you couldn't see him for paste,
Dabbing it 'ere, dabbing it there, Paste and paper everywhere.

Muvvei; was stuck to the ceiling,
The kids were stuck to the floor,
You never seen a bloomin' family
So stuck up before.
