THE NORDSTROM SISTERS Dagmar Nordstrom born Dec. 12, 1903 died Apr. 9, 1976 and Sigfreda “Siggie” Nordstrom born June 14, 1893 died Dec. 24, 1980. Dagmar made piano rolls for Duo-Art and her picture graced several pieces of sheet music in the 1920's. In Dec. of 1935 Paramount featured them in a short subject called "The Debutantes". They flitted back and forth between the U.S. and the continent, spending much of 1939 at the Ritz in London. The year 1940 found them at the Chez Harry and then to the Clichy Restaurant in 1941. The first two sessions below were "personal" records paid for by the client and typically pressed in very limited quantities. It is not known if these were even approved by the client, one Mr. H. E. Ward, for pressing. --Nordstrom Sisters Columbia Records studio, New York City Oct. 21, 1932. (W170670-1) Medley Part 1 (W170671-1) Medley Part 2 --Nov. 15, 1932.
