TNT RECORDS Tunes-n’-Titters
A product of the Hi-Tension Co. from the late 1940's or early 1950's. No relation to the Tanner 'n' Texas firm of San Antonio. Unnumbered red labels with silver print show control numbers L-1 through L-21, 6001 to 6018 and 8016 to 8035 but no catalog number. These are anonymous performances, mostly dubs of Party Record releases. Label style is reminiscent of New York City’s Sunset label. In all likelihood a label of Empire Recording Studios after it relocated to 1144 Madison Ave. Redwood City, CA.
